Morning	Advanced NEN Good Autism Practice: Understanding the Individual	Understanding the importance of individuals’ autistic identity, including intersectionality and co-occurring conditions and how this affects their presentation within the classroom.
Day 1	Monday 22^nd June 2026		Afternoon	Advanced NEN Good Autism Practice: Positive Relationships	Underpinning theory behind individual differences within relationship building and exploring practical strategies for how to support autistic young people’s social relationships.
Day 2	Tuesday 30^th June 2026	Hollyfield’s Sports and Conference Centre, Woodacre Road, Erdington, B24 0JT.	Morning	Advanced NEN Good Autism Practice: Enabling Environments	Understanding the impact of sensory differences on the pupil’s experience in the school environment and how to support these, including managing transitions.
Day 2	Tuesday 30^th June 2026		Afternoon	Advanced NEN Good Autism Practice: Learning and Development	How the Assess, Plan, Do, Review cycle supports best progress for autistic pupils, starting from their strengths. Consideration of approaches that can support within the classroom to improve outcomes.
Day 3	Tuesday 22^nd September 2026	Heartlands Centre, Francis Street, Nechells, B7 4JN.	Morning	Communication and Joint Attention	Exploring the foundations of communication and joint attention, focusing on how these skills support learning, interaction, and social development. Autism Champions will gain practical strategies to encourage shared focus, engagement, and purposeful communication.
Day 3	Tuesday 22^nd September 2026	Heartlands Centre, Francis Street, Nechells, B7 4JN.	Afternoon	Executive Function and Gaining Pupil Voice	Understanding executive function skills such as planning, organisation, emotional control, and flexible thinking, and their impact on learning and behaviour. Autism Champions will learn strategies to support these skills while promoting meaningful pupil voice and participation in decision-making.
Day 4	Tuesday 29^th September 2026	Heartlands Centre, Francis Street, Nechells, B7 4JN.	Morning	NEN Anxiety and Anxious Non-Attendance	Autism Champions will explore autism as a difference, helping to recognise what may cause anxiety for autistic pupils and how that anxiety might be expressed.
Day 4	Tuesday 29^th September 2026	Heartlands Centre, Francis Street, Nechells, B7 4JN.	Afternoon	Emotional Regulation and Zones of Regulation	An introduction to emotional regulation and the Zones of Regulation framework. Autism Champions will learn how to help pupils recognise, understand, and manage their emotions, using consistent language and practical strategies to support self-regulation and wellbeing.
Day 5	Tuesday 6^th October 2026	Heartlands Centre, Francis Street, Nechells, B7 4JN.	Morning	Transitions	Autism Champions will explore the key factors that make transition to secondary school successful, highlighting the differences in environment, expectations and routines that may impact autistic learners. Delegates will gain practical strategies to prepare pupils effectively, reduce anxiety, and build confidence through structured support, communication and collaboration with families and schools
Day 5	Tuesday 6^th October 2026	Heartlands Centre, Francis Street, Nechells, B7 4JN.	Afternoon	Makaton Taster Session	A practical introduction to Makaton, exploring how signs and symbols can support communication and inclusion. Autism Champions will learn core signs and gain confidence in using Makaton to support understanding, expression, and engagement.
